I Got Tagged, and I'm It

You know how sometimes you'll get those chain-letter-like e-mails saying you've been tagged for one dorky, corny, or annoying thing or another and that you must forward it on to "everyone you know"? Well, this isn't like that. It's more fun.

The idea is to post 6 random things about yourself and then tag 6 other people to do the same. But first the rules:
6 Tagging Rules:
  1. Link to the person who tagged you.
  2. Post the rules on your blog.
  3. Write six random things about yourself.
  4. Tag six random people at the end of your post by linking to their blogs.
  5. Let each person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment at their blog.
  6. Let your tagger know when your entry is up.
Here are my 6 random things:

1. I watch very little TV, but Lil' Bush is my one guilty pleasure, thanks to my DVR--it's the funniest show I've ever seen. But somebody tell the producers the apostrophe in Lil' is misplaced.

2. Probably my favorite author of all time is Robert Moss, because his novels are about the French and Indian War era, my favorite era in American history.

3. The back of my head was once used in a Bufferin commercial, and I didn't even have to audition. (I got paid $1.)
4. Elevator stories: At a job I had in the Lincoln Center area in NYC, I once shared an elevator with Tyne Daly, and on another occasion was solicited to have a hair makeover done.
5. My favorite band is The Police, and I finally got to see them live during their reunion tour last year.
6. The nicest acknowledgment I ever got for working on a book was written by Craig Sandler in The Illustrated Timeline of Inventions.
Here's who I'm tagging--let's see if they'll play too:

Best band -- you've got that right. I saw The Police in September. Unbelievable.

Oh! A fellow Police fan AND a woman who appreciates Strunk & White? Will you be my new best friend? LOL

Come to think of it, my best friend turns 40 today. Happy birthday, Christine!

I did my tag, too!

Dysfunctional as it is, I did my tag, and had fun doing so!
